A student majoring in art, music, physical education or Spanish may acquire K-6 and 7-12 endorsements by completing the following:

1. The art, music, physical education or Spanish major
2. The requirements for K-6 endorsement in art, music, physical education and Spanish
3. The secondary special methods course in your major (ART308, MUS308 (Vocal), MUS309 (Instrumental), KIN318 or LAN308)
4. EDU311, General Methods in Secondary Education
5. EDU416, Vertical Student Teaching. Both the elementary and secondary level of student teaching may be combined within the 12-credit requirement.

Students receiving the K-12 endorsement need once science course.
