A 35-year faculty member, Dr. Juffer received the Northwestern Teaching Excellence Award in 1990 and was the longtime department chairperson. He retired in 2002 but continues as a part-time instructor, working closely with student teacher placement and teacher licensure. He received doctoral and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota.
