Internships

Internships enable students to put their skills to the test in a real work environment. Computer science students are encouraged to participate in an internship usually during their junior or senior year. Some students also line up paid internships during the summer. MariJo Krier, for example, interned in the information technology department for United Defense prior to her junior year.

Internships are available close to campus at one of several international corporations in Orange City and Sioux Center, or in urban areas like Chicago through cooperative programs with other colleges and the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities.
