Northwestern’s church worship teams are student ensembles that visit churches within a 50-mile radius of the college during the school year to lead congregations in traditional, contemporary and world music. The team leaders are supervised by Dr. Heather Josselyn-Cranson, Northwestern’s director of music ministries.
The Northwestern church worship team will work closely with your church’s pastor or worship committee to reflect the worship service theme and select musical styles that are comfortable for your church. In addition to leading music, team members also can help with the children’s message and liturgy or Scripture reading. They can co-lead with your church’s worship team or provide worship workshops.
