Hisel medals at DWU Invite, NWC JV finishes Fourth

Melissa Hisel medaled at the Dakota Wesleyan Invite, scoring a 87 and finishing in ninth place Tuesday afternoon. Northwestern sent it's JV squad to the meet and a couple of Varisty golfers. The team finished fourth at the Invite, behind the Varsity squads of Wayne State, Sioux Falls, and Dakota Wesleyan. Anne Eberline finished 14th with 92 strokes to lead the Red Raiders, who had a team total of 392. Rachelle Pedersen finished tied for 18th with 98 strokes, Emily Jensen and Kara Ritchie both finished with 101 strokes, good for 22nd, and Chelsea Harberts rounded out the team with 111 and a 28th place finish. Also golfing from Northwestern was Sara Horn. She finished 16th with a 95. Northwestern will hit the links again on August 31st in the Northwestern Invite, the meet will involve both Varsity and Junior Varsity women's golfers. Tee time is set for 1:30 P.M.
