Anne Eberline (Grundy Center, Iowa) has recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern this fall.
The daughter of Paul and Janet, Eberline is a four-year letter winner for Grundy Center High School. She helped lead her team to a state championship in 2005 and a runner-up finish her senior year. Eberline finished in fourth place at the district meet and tied for 13th place at the Class 2A state tournament with an 88. She earned first team all-conference honors last year. A standout student as well, Eberline was the valedictorian and a member of the state champion academic decathlon team.
“We are pleased to have Anne sign to play golf at Northwestern,” commented Head Coach Harold Hoftyzer. “Her potential to contribute to our team’s success over the next four years is exciting. Anne brings a wealth of quality high school experience to us which will help her develop into a top college player.”
