Rachael Koenigsberg (Sheffield, Iowa) has recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern this fall.

The daughter of Brad and Mary Jo, Koenigsberg is a transfer sophomore from Mount Mercy College. She was a starter on a Mount Mercy squad that reached the NAIA national tournament. Koenigsberg, a four-year letter winner for SC-MT High School earned all-conference honors and helped lead her team to the state tournament her sophomore year. A member of the all-academic team, Koenigsberg plans to major in nursing at Northwestern.

“I am excited that Rachael has decided to transfer to Northwestern,” commented Head Coach Harold Hoftyzer. “She brings the experience of competing in a national tournament and on a highly successful high school team to our squad. Rachael’s desire to grow both in golf and in life will be a joy to watch and coach.”
