Rachelle Pedersen (Nora Springs, Iowa) has recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern next fall.

The daughter of Lori and Ron, Pedersen is a four-year letter winner for Nora Springs-Rock Falls High School. She helped lead her team to a 43-4 record and a berth in the regional tournament. Pedersen earned all-conference accolades and also qualified for regional play as an individual. Her personal best is a 91 on 18 holes and a 41 for nine holes. A member of the academic all-state team, Pedersen plans to major in biology at Northwestern.

“Rachelle was part of a very successful high school program,” commented Head Coach Harold Hoftyzer. “We believe she can bring a winning attitude to our program which will make our team stronger.”
