Apr 20, 2006
The women's golf team competed against the elements and seven other teams as they hosted the Northwestern Spring Invitational at Landsmeer Golf Club. Amid 40mph sustained winds and the cold temperature, the Red Raiders finished in fourth place with a 402. Dakota Wesleyan won the meet with a 378 and also captured individual medalist honors as Heather Snavely carded an 84. Individually, sophomore Melissa Hisel led NW with a 94 which was good for a tie for fourth place. Paige Kleinwolterink and Alison Stutzman each shot a 102 for 17th place.
NW will next compete at the Briar Cliff/Frommelt Invite on Tuesday, April 25, in Sioux City.
