Kara Ritchie (Bedford, Iowa) has recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern next fall.
The daughter of Alan and Kristi, Ritchie is presently attending Simpson College and will be transferring to Northwestern in the fall. She is planning to major in elementary education at Northwestern.
“We are excited Kara is transferring to Northwestern next fall,” commented Head Coach Harold Hoftyzer. “She brings a strong inner desire to become a better player. Kara is working with a PGA golf professional which will make her the accomplished player that she wants to be. Kara’s maturity and talents will be a blessing to the Red Raider golf team.”
