Kelsey Shiflett (Humboldt, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern next fall.
The daughter of Dan and Candy, Shiflett is a three-year letter winner at Humboldt High School. She earned all-conference honors both her sophomore and junior years and has placed in the top six in districts the last two years. Shiflett carries an 84 stroke average and has played in a number of IWGA girls tournaments. An outstanding student, she plans to major in English at Northwestern.
“Kelsey is a hard worker,” commented Head Coach Harold Hoftyzer. “She will have the opportunity to contribute to our team immediately and for the next four years. Kelsey will be a real asset to our team.”
