Hisel earns all-conference honors

 Melissa Hisel (Kuna, Idaho) earned Great Plains Athletic Conference all-league honors for the second consecutive year. The sophomore helped lead her team to a fourth place finish at the GPAC conference meet, which was played at the Wild Oaks Country Club in Mitchell, S.D. As a team, Northwestern shot a 734 and qualified for regional competition which will be held on May 1 and 2, 2006, at a site to be determined. Hisel finished the meet in sixth place overall with a two-day total of 174. This season, Hisel finished in the top 15 in four meets and earned a medal in three. In seven tournaments, she had a 90.1 scoring average.
