Athletics
As a member of the Great Plains Athletics Conference, Northwestern competes in one of the toughest leagues in the NAIA. Since the league’s inception in 2000, conference teams have won 12 national championships—three of which belong to the Red Raiders.
Northwestern fields teams in eight intercollegiate sports for men and seven for women. While Raider coaches love winning, they encourage a balance between athletics, academics and involvement in campus life. Students are guided not only in achieving their peak potential as athletes, but in developing the wisdom, character and faith that will guide them throughout life.
