Caleb Kester (Urbandale, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College next year.
Kester is a four-year letter winner for Des Moines Christian High School. A utility player, Kester has batted .325 with 18 doubles, six triples and four home runs over the course of his career at Des Moines Christian. He earned second team all-conference honors as both a sophomore and junior and helped lead his team to a 16-16 record last season. Kester, who is the son of Dave and Julie, plans to major in computer information systems at Northwestern.
According to Head Coach Brian Wede, “Caleb will join us after a very fine high school career. His lefthanded bat will be a real asset to our team next year and we are excited to watch him develop over the next four years.”
