Mar 6, 2007
The Raider baseball team won a pair of games on Monday as they defeated Trinity International, 3-2, and then downed Grace College, 8-6. Jake Koerselman picked up the win against TIU, giving up two runs. The Northwestern offense managed just five hits but managed to earn the one-run victory.
In game two, the Raider offense came alive and pounded out 13 hits and scored eight runs. NWC played errorless ball in the field and provided senior righthander Dusty Meyn plenty of support in helping him earn his first victory of the season.
Northwestern improved to 4-1 on the season and will play two more games on Tuesday, March 6, where they will play Kenyon College and Trinity International.
