Charles Stith (Ramona, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College next year.
The son of Rodney and Sandra, Stith is a two-year letter winner for Ramona High School. The 5’10” catcher/outfielder batted .370 in his career with six doubles and five home runs. He helped lead his team to the league title in 2005 and to an 18-6 record so far this season. Stith was selected for the Puma All-American Tournament and the 2005 Chicago White Sox Scout Team. A member of the National Honor Society and honor roll, Stith plans to major in pre-engineering at Northwestern.
According to Head Coach Dave Nonnemacher, “Chuck is another impact recruit for the Red Raider baseball program. He has played solid baseball at a high level of competition, and we are excited that he will be joining our program. In addition, Chuck is a very strong student who is motivated to excel both in the classroom and on the field.”
