Requires completion of the art major for secondary majors. Elementary education majors may satisfy the requirements of this endorsement by completing the art minor.

K-6 and 7-12 endorsement in art
A student majoring in art, music, physical education or Spanish may acquire K-6 and 7-12 endorsements by completing the following:
- The art major
- The requirements for K-6 endorsement in art (see above)
- ART308 Methods of Teaching Secondary Art
- EDU311, General Methods in Secondary Education
- EDU416, Vertical Student Teaching. Both the elementary and secondary level of student teaching may be combined within the 12-credit requirement.
Students receiving the K-12 endorsement need one science course.
