Korver Visual Arts Center

Artists need the space and freedom to experiment as they realize their artistic vision. Northwestern’s Korver Visual Arts Center, which opened in 2003, is a place where that happens. In addition to housing faculty offices, the building also has a dozen studios for ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. The Korver Center also includes a computer lab/studio for graphic design students.

The studios have floor-to-ceiling windows to take advantage of the natural north light. They also have track and fluorescent lighting. Each studio includes cubicles for student work, and art students also have an assigned locker for securing work and supplies in the building.
