Interesting or little-known fact about me: In Mississippi this past summer, my husband and I hooked a 6-foot alligator with two fishing poles.
Given the choice, I’ll always order … cheesecake.
Favorite thing about Northwestern: I immediately loved my dorm at NWC. The residence life staff and program were phenomenal, and the people I met through the program and dorm events are—and will be—my lifelong friends. I also appreciated the integration of faith and learning and the many opportunities that challenged me to think about justice and God’s heart for his people.
College search advice: Visit a few colleges, not just one. Spend a day, a night, or a few nights at them so you get a feel for the people and the community that exists in that place. Pray about your decision and follow God’s leading. Look for opportunities to get connected and be involved so you can make the best of your college years!
