Academic alerts
At any point in the semester, a student who is not meeting the professor’s expectations for learning may receive an “academic alert,” which describes the professor’s concerns as well as suggestions for improvement. Copies of the alert are sent to the student’s academic adviser. Students should take academic alerts seriously and strive to improve their academic performance with the assistance of professors, advisers and tutors.
