Honors seminars

Members of the Honors Program are eligible to take honors seminars. Offered each semester, the seminars offer an interdisciplinary approach to challenging topics outside the traditional curriculum. Seminars are team-taught by outstanding faculty members from different disciplines.

Past seminars have included Society and Science Fiction; Flannery O'Connor; Wellness; Christianity and Consumption; Religion and Politics in the Middle East; Vocation; Technology and American Culture; Short Hebraic Narratives; Humor; Jacques Ellul; and Men, Women and Gender.

Each honors seminar is worth two credits and meets once a week for 90 minutes. Up to four hours of honors seminar credits may be substituted for general education requirements.
