About NWC
Northwestern College is a community of learning where students are equipped to find their place in God’s world. A Northwestern education is academically rigorous, distinctively Christian and firmly committed to the liberal arts—an academic tradition involving core requirements in a broad range of fields.
Northwestern’s “whole education for your whole life” takes place in and out of the classroom. Faculty and staff serve as mentors, helping students wrestle with how their faith informs their learning, relationships and goals. It’s in this caring, close-knit community that students build lifelong friendships, grow in their relationship with God, and explore their interests and talents through a wide range of co-curricular activities.
A Northwestern education extends beyond our campus. Numerous study abroad opportunities provide international experience, while each year one-fifth of our students participate in Christian service trips throughout the United States and world. Whether on campus or off, students don’t just learn about the world; they learn how to live in it as Christians. They leave prepared for fulfilling careers or top graduate schools. More importantly, they leave prepared to follow Christ in a complex, needy world.
